Movie Description

An adventurous, breath-taking and risky story of return. In the 1960’s, WWII refugees, who left Eastern Europe, finally have an opportunity to visit their motherland. However, in the years of their absence, their country was transformed into a Soviet republic with a parallel reality. Images of their now occupied homeland, documented with amateur cameras, reveal the reality of the Soviet period, the mentality of the exodus and its distinctive idea of Lithuania.

The film explores feelings of homesickness and broken illusions, but also talks about relationships among people unaffected by the political regime.
