Skirmanta Jakaitė is a Lithuanian animation director whose previous films The Juggler and Way Better were screened at Annecy, Dok Leipzig, Palm Springs and various other film festivals. The Juggler won Silver Crane award for Best Lithuanian Animation Film.  Way Better received the Best Animation award at Oscar-qualifying film festival Palm Springs.
