Movie Description
This is a story about a woman and a boy, about family, about a relationship between a man and a woman; it is also about the persistent longing for something we cannot give to one another. The protagonist, Izabelė, is a modern self-possessed woman who lives with her husband, Liudas, in a country house near a big city. They are raising a 7-year-old son, Gailius, who suffers from epilepsy and is more intelligent than most children his age. Izabelė decides to adopt 6-year-old Ilja, the most difficult and secretive boy in a foster home.
