Cold Springs is a nostalgic interpretation of Litauische Geschichten (Lithuanian Stories, 1917) by Hermann Sudermann. After win- ter, there comes the outbreak of spring, melting snow, broken ice, rising water blurring all edges and borders. Floating pictures are accompanied by authentic sounds of the frozen lake in Cold Springs village (Šaltųjų Šaltinių kaimas), Lithuania.
