A couple drifts down a mysterious river – together, yet seemingly distant from one another. When they reach the shore, they quickly quarrel and go their separate ways. Left alone, each confronts themselves: the man recalls what led him to withdraw from the world, while the woman experiences the weight of solitude. After some time, they meet again – both transformed.
Martynas Kundrotas (b. 1985) is a director, screenwriter, and cinematographer living in Lithuania. He completed his studies in audiovisual arts, where he gained experience as a photographer and cinematographer. In his films, the main focus is on mood and the sensory experience of the characters, while eschewing a clear narrative.
