Aldona, an intimacy coordinator on a film set, is devastated to discover her partner Audrius’s infidelity with multiple women. He claims to suffer from sex addiction. Having once been married to an alcoholic, Aldona is familiar with the risks, yet she chooses once again to take a leap of faith, hoping their bond can survive this test.

As time passes, however, Aldona’s need for reassurance turns into an obsession, and every interaction Audrius has with other women fills her with anxiety. She begins to cross lines, both professionally on the film set and in her personal life. Eventually, she realises that the real reason she can no longer stay in the relationship is because of what she has become.

Irma Pužauskaitė is a film director and intimacy coordinator, renowned for her nuanced storytelling and dedication to her craft. Her debut feature, “9th Step”, has earned critical acclaim, including the Cineurope Award, and was acquired by HBO following a successful run on the festival circuit. The film was also nominated for eight Silver Crane awards in Lithuania and enjoyed a successful theatrical release.

In addition to her directorial achievements, Irma is a sought-after intimacy coordinator, having collaborated with directors such a sLasse Hallström, Marija Kavtaradze (Sundance Best Director Award 2023), and Kristen Stewart. Irma's expertise extends to education as well; she teaches the course "Working with Actors" at the Lithuanian Film National School.
