A young sex worker, Maria, sets out to reconnect with her estranged biological father, but their growing relationship takes an unexpected turn as she conceals her true identity, forcing her to confront the delicate line between deception and healing.
Danielius Minkevičius is a young generation film director. His short film “Crucifixion” was nominated for the Best Lithuanian Short Film at the National Film Awards for the 2019-2020 and as the Best Student Work at the 2020 “Silver Crane” awards. The film also earned a selection at prestigious international film festivals, including “Palm Springs ShortFest” (USA, 2020), among others. His lastest short film “Dance” also received a nomination for Best Student Work at the 2022 “Silver Crane” National Film Awards and was selected for international competitive programs at festivals such as the “Camerimage” International Film Festival (Poland, 2021), “Scanorama” International Film Festival (Vilnius, 2022). Currently, Danielius is working on his debut feature film, “Oblivion” which had its preliminary presentation at the co-production market of the A-Class “Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival” (2022) and received interest and acclaim from industry professionals.
