Ina and Mantas are a young couple whose love is tested by the weight of illness and their own limitations. When Mantas, who lives in denial of his diabetes, suffers a life-threatening hypoglycemic episode, Ina embarks on a frantic search for glucose. As the incident unfolds, their contrasting perceptions reveal how differently people can experience the same moment.

Aušra Giedraitytė is a director, screenwriter, and actress who has lived in various European countries before graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.  Her debut short film, Sugar, marks her first directorial project, where she explores the complexities of a love relationship. Through her work, she aims to capture the contradictions of human connections in fleeting, unfiltered experiences. Aušra’s background as a screenwriter and actress shapes her storytelling, focusing on raw, intimate moments.
