The Swimmer is a documentary about Vladimir, a man whose life spans the extremes of despair and hope. After years of heavy drinking and living out of a car, he suffers the loss of his legs and finds himself in a homeless shelter. Realising that the next stop is the grave, he finds the will to turn his life around. Today Vladimir swims and keeps not only redefining himself, but also breaking Lithuanian Paralympic records.
