Movie Description
This is an exciting film about the first professional Lithuanian sculptor Juozas Zikaras, the creator of the Freedom Monument in Kaunas. He also designed the coins for the interwar Republic of Lithuania and many national symbols, as well as busts of many important historical personages. The fate of Juozas Zikaras was incredibly similar to that of his young country. Born in a very poor family in the countryside near Panevėžys, Zikaras reached the pinnacle of recognition and created the identifying symbols of Lithuania.
