After the arrival of a mining company to her small mountain village, UNA, a 9-year-old girl, decides to stage a protest with her friends. When their actions spiral out of control, Una embarks on a journey that will change everyone’s future.

David Doutel and Vasco Sá met in 2002 at the School of the Arts UCP in Portugal, while studying in the Sound and Image master's programme. Since then, they have collaborated on numerous projects recognised and awarded both nationally and internationally. Together they have directed the short films O Sapateiro (2011, PT/ES), Fuligem (2014, PT), Agouro (2018, PT/FR), and Garrano (2023, PT/LT) — their most recent work. Selected from over 500 submissions, their films have received more than 70 awards and screened at festivals including Sundance Film Festival (USA), Annecy Festival (France), Clermont-Ferrand IFF (France), Chicago International Film Festival (USA), Anima Mundi (Brazil), Animafest Zagreb (Croatia), and Hiroshima International Animation Film Festival (Japan).

They are among the founders of BAP – Animation Studio, where they work as directors and producers. Since 2011, they have been involved in the creation of several short animated films by various authors — both in the artistic and production departments — including The Garbage Man, dir. Laura Gonçalves; Elo, dir. Alexandra Ramires; De Imperio, dir. Alessandro Novelli; and Água Mole, dir. Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves.
